Human Resources Coordinator

One of our clients, Japanese IT service solution company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Coordinator to support the operational and administrative functions of our HR department. This role requires a versatile professional with deep knowledge of HR practices, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities with precision and confidentiality. The position will be responsible for various core HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, payroll assistance, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Assistant; Coordinate and prepare onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation, background checks, and schedules and offboarding processes, including exit interviews, documentation, and asset return.
  • Serve as an HR administrator to employees regarding attendance, PTO, benefits, grievances, and organizational changes.
  • Support benefits administration, including record maintenance and employee inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in HRIS systems for reporting and compliance.
  • Assist in the development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and update policies as needed.
  • Oversee office management and administration such as maintain inventory, and order supplies.
  • Other assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, with expertise in payroll and benefits support.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in managing HR documents, data, and administrative processes.
  • Experience in benefits administration and employee relations.
  • Ability to communicate and guide employees on policies and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and urgency in meeting compliance and operational deadlines.
  • Visa/Immigration experience is a plus.
