Job Title: HR Coordinator (Ongoing Contract)

Location: Remote (Must reside in Southern California)

Employment Type: Ongoing Contract, Non-Exempt

Pay: $25-$30/hr

Position Summary:

LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized HR Coordinator for an ongoing contract role. This position is fully remote, but candidates must live in Southern California. The UKG Workforce Coordinator will be responsible for administering and maintaining temporary worker records in UKG, supporting the People Team, and ensuring compliance with labor and HR requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain new hire and rehire temp profiles in UKG based on Microsoft Form submissions.
  • Enter and validate required data, including hire dates, job details, pay/bill rates, supervisor and approver information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all active temps.
  • Send confirmation emails to agency recruiters and ensure timeclock access for temps.
  • Process termination requests and update UKG with relevant details.
  • Build relationships with staffing agencies and provide them with access to timecards, labor usage reports, and census data.
  • Support agencies and managers with roster audits and timecard approver setup.
  • Assist with annual EEOC and other compliance filings, labor law postings, and document retention.
  • Respond to legal and employment verification requests.
  • Distribute process updates and serve as the main point of contact for agency process-related questions.
  • Generate HR reports, including zero-hour, punch exceptions, overtime, and meal violations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with HRIS/workforce systems (UKG strongly preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Familiarity with HR compliance requirements (EEOC, labor postings, record retention).
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with staffing agencies and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Forms.
  • Must reside in Southern California.
