Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of human capital management, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Duties

  • Assist in talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Manage employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company culture.
  • Support employee evaluation processes and performance management initiatives.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA regulations, and other employment & labor laws.
  • Participate in change management initiatives and strategic planning efforts to enhance organizational design.
  • Assist with affirmative action planning and succession planning activities.
  • Collaborate on training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR decision-making processes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources coordination or administrative roles within an HR department.
  • Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with employment & labor laws including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Proficiency in project management with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience with conflict management and employee relations strategies.
  • Knowledge of performance management systems and talent management practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
