Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including maintaining employee records, employee relations, compliance with employment laws and employee scheduling. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Duties
- Assist in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews.
- Facilitate employee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization.
- Coordinating performance evaluations.
- Reconcile credit card statements, bank transactions, audits and monthly P&L statements
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment and labor laws while maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with management on change management initiatives and strategic planning for workforce development.
- Maintain Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) for data entry and reporting purposes.
- Manage employee relations issues by providing guidance on conflict management and resolution strategies.
- Participate in affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
- Assist in payroll processing.
- Assist with scheduling of jobs and incoming calls and emails when needed.
- Invoicing work orders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in HR coordination roles.
- Familiarity with employment laws, including FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation processes.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks .
- Accounting experience with P&L statements and reconcilitions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on interpersonal relations and conflict resolution.
- Experience with data collection and analysis to support HR initiatives.
- Knowledge of training & development practices along with performance management systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
