Purpose:

The HR Coordinator will provide HR case management within a shared services environment. The position provides first-line assistance to employees on general HR administrative matters. Answers basic questions, provides standard policy/procedural information, and performs routine problem resolution or referral on matters pertaining to employment, pay and benefits, administration and/or employee relations administration. Reviews, processes and routes a wide range of human resources documentation.

Indicators of Success:

Administrative

  • Key performance indicators for administrative tasks consist of managing personnel files and staying focused on department projects till completion.

Recruitment

  • Key performance indicators measure the performance in helping to find qualified workers and adjust them to the organization. Ensure that application forms contain all necessary information, job postings accurately describe the ideal candidate's qualifications, and new hires have completed all pre-employment tests.

Employee Orientation

  • Help new hires adjust to the company. Satisfactorily perform on-boarding duties to help support enterprise objectives of employee development.

Compensation

  • Key performance indicators for compensation measure efforts to help process payroll efficiently and accurately. Check draft reports for correct overtime, and vacation calculations. Demonstrates an understanding of the company's compensation policy, and complying with the organization's employee motivation goals.

Employee Relations

  • Key performance indicators that staff members' are willing to cooperate with each other and with managers by supporting the department's commitment to improving employee relations. Promotes teamwork spirit among employees by maintaining a positive workplace environment. Intervenes at the right time to prevent tensions between workers from escalating into something more serious? Responding to everyday inquires from employees.

Areas of Responsibility:

· Provides general information and answers routine questions regarding the application of human resources policies and procedures to employees; refers questions or concerns requiring policy interpretation to more senior representatives or to specialist HR staff, as appropriate

· Talent Acquisition support – Process and Facilitation of New Hire Orientation and exit interviews. Receives, reviews, and processes documents pertaining to new hires, payroll and benefits, and personnel actions, verifying for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established policy and procedural requirements.

· Follows up with department representatives as necessary to ensure resolution of problems involving incomplete, inaccurate, or non-compliant documentation

· Provides general information and assistance on pay and employee benefits, procedures and documentation.

· Assist with general benefits administration including processing employee benefits enrollments, benefit changes and conducting regular benefit audits.

· Serve as liaison to benefit providers regarding benefit questions, enrollment materials and issues, administration issues, etc.

· Reconcile and prepare all benefit invoices for approval and coordinate payment with Accounts Payable.

· Receives, verifies, and enters individual data into ADP Pay Expert and EZ Labor to generate appropriate records and payroll adjustments; ensures accuracy of all on-line data entered.

· Manage all employee files and records, process HR and payroll related paperwork; maintain employee information.

· Manage the maintenance of official personnel files.

· Process all Terminations including arranging exit interviews and process relevant paperwork.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
