Human Resources Coordinator

Job Overview
A Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing various HR functions within a company, including recruiting new hires, onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, administering benefits, handling employee relations issues, coordinating training programs, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing support to both employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures; essentially acting as a central point of contact for all HR related matters within an organization.

Key responsibilities of a Human Resources Coordinator may include:

Duties

  • Assist with talent acquisition processes, including sourcing candidates via ATS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, and SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
  • Support employee evaluation and performance management initiatives by collecting data and preparing reports.
  • Manage benefits administration tasks, including enrollment, changes, and compliance with applicable laws such as FMLA and Workers' Compensation.
  • Maintain HRIS systems like Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Paychex, Paylocity, Dayforce, and Kronos for accurate data entry and reporting.
  • Facilitate employee relations efforts by addressing inquiries, managing conflict resolution processes, and supporting engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with compliance activities related to employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and organizational design.
  • Support change management projects and strategic planning efforts aimed at workforce development.
  • Prepare documentation for contracts, policies, and procedures while ensuring adherence to legal standards.
  • Collect data for HR analytics to support decision-making processes related to talent management and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on training & development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational growth.

Skills

  • Proficiency in HR sourcing tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Familiarity with employment & labor law compliance including FMLA, Workers' Compensation, OSHA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively.
  • Experience in benefits administration and payroll systems like ADP or Paychex.
  • Ability to handle data collection and entry accurately using HRIS platforms such as PeopleSoft or Ceridian.
  • Project management skills with a focus on organizational design and strategic workforce planning.
  • Knowledge of social media management for employer branding initiatives.
  • Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as employee orientation, evaluation processes, training & development programs.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
