This position is located in the Oklahoma City/Edmond area.
The Human Resources Coordinator works directly with our clients as a provider of HR services including employee and manager training, issue resolution, compliance guidance, and writing policies. This person coordinates with our payroll, benefits, tax/accounting, and IT teams to ensure an excellent client experience. The HR Coordinator is the face of the organization for assigned clients.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicate needs proactively with the client, and assists in developing integrated solutions such as:
- Coordinate client open enrollments by communicating with client, agent, and Exodus HR
- Deliver Supervisor and Employee Human Resource Compliance Trainings and Seminars
- Learn and use the UKG (hr/payroll) portal to assist client
- Development of Job Descriptions
- Development of Employee Handbook
- Communicate Safety needs to Exodus HR Safety Department
- Develop a well-defined strategy for recruiting new employees by assisting with employment branding, competitive salary range, job descriptions, company recruiting culture, hiring sources, etc.
- Perform new client company orientations and new client benefits enrollments, including, but not limited to:
o Creation of Employment Forms, Employee File Audits, Client Compliance Audits.
o Develop a customized solution for ongoing solutions for new hire onboarding and benefit enrollment.
o Train employers and employees on payroll and timekeeping software.
- Assist Clients with Employee Issues and Regulatory Compliance with assistance from the Human Resource Director.
- Respond to unemployment claims for clients at their request (if needed).
- Complete on-site new employee onboardings as needed.
- Use Exodus HR systems to track and report client activity and issues.
- You will be required to implement a step by step outlined HR System and basic structure for all clients to maintain compliance and develop and deliver a calendar of services.
- Provide company and service information and resolve client complaints by pinpointing problems; offering solutions, corrections, or adjustments; and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Occasionally assist our Business Development Team with prospect calls and demos.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Must be able to keep up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients when necessary.
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with clients and employees who have questions or problems and maintain a consistent and positive customer service image as well as a high level of patience and understanding when interacting with clients and employees.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be organized and have effective time management skills.
- Follow through is a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to see, talk and hear.
- Will be frequently be required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- At times, could require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
- Travel required for customer visits; new and existing business. The percentage of travel time varies according to new clients and client needs.
EDUCATION/BACKGROUND
- We require a Bachelor’s degree in HR and one year of prior experience in an HR setting where the majority of the work day is spent doing a variety of HR tasks.
- Must obtain a PHR or SPHR within one year of eligibility.
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree in HR, we will consider four years of prior HR experience in an HR setting where the majority of the work day is spent doing a variety of HR tasks and one of the following:
o PHR or SPHR certification
o SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
- Employee benefit compliance knowledge is preferred.
- Customer Service Experience is required
- Public Speaking on Human Resources subjects is highly desirable
