Primary Function: This person is responsible for the fair and consistent administration and communication of employment practices and policies by coordinating directly with hiring managers, the Safety Team, and job candidates. Provide a seamless onboarding experience for both the hiring manager and the candidate by coordinating job postings, onboarding paperwork completion, documentation verification, drug test scheduling, and confirming the candidate is cleared to begin their first day of employment.

Typical Duties include but are not limited to:

Administering the Employee Services practices and procedures to meet the ongoing needs of all Crowder employees through:

Coordinate the Onboarding Process, including:
- Coordinate the electronic onboarding paperwork, including approval of all identification, forms, and checklists.
- Run E-verify and coordinate with hiring managers on any follow-up actions required.
- Process onboarding packages and activate new hires into various systems in accordance with Position/Classification Guidelines as directed.
- Build a strong working relationship with all Hiring Managers and Field Administrative Assistants, to ensure they understand our policies and practices.
- Provide assistance and direction to New Hires and Hiring Managers in relation to onboarding paperwork and processes.

Maintain Crowder’s Drug Free Workplace Policy and Procedures, including:
- Process drug test results, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, etc on a daily/weekly basis.
- Maintain inventory and distribution of materials to job site Division Offices.
- Coordinate pre-employment drug tests

Maintaining the Personnel File for each employee (active and inactive), including:
- Maintain the full life cycle of employee changes and records.
- Index and verify personnel-related documents in electronic file for accuracy.
- Handle employment verification requests.
- Process unemployment requests.
Assisting with other tasks and projects as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience:

Two (2) years of direct administrative and/or Human Resources experience preferred
Ability to multi-task, work under tight time constraints, and strong attention to detail required
Maintain procedural knowledge on regulatory compliance standards and practices
Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, File Archive/ECM systems; experience with various HRIS and payroll systems is a plus)
