Human Resources Coordinator

The Role…
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations at a boutique beachfront hotel. This role will assist with hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative HR functions, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all team members.

The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with property leadership to support staffing needs, maintain compliance, and help build a strong, efficient team across all departments.

A successful candidate is proactive, discreet, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Duties

  • Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
  • Coordinate onboarding and ensure all new hire documentation is completed accurately
  • Maintain employee records and HR files in compliance with company standards
  • Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and attendance tracking
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and procedures
  • Support employee relations by addressing concerns and escalating when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
  • Assist with scheduling coordination and staffing needs across departments
  • Support training initiatives and track employee progress and documentation
  • Maintain organization of HR systems, files, and internal communications

Required Skills / Qualifications…

  • 1–3+ years of experience in HR, administration, or hospitality operations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with HR systems, payroll, or scheduling tools preferred
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements…

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the property as needed
  • Ability to lift or carry light materials (up to 20–25 pounds)
