Responsibilities
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process, including job posting, interview coordination, reference checks, and new employee orientation.
- Manage employee insurance enrollment, updates, and terminations, ensuring timely communication with insurance providers.
- Help interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees, ensuring compliance and understanding.
- Support employee relations by maintaining positive communication and addressing general employee inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Support purchasing and procurement tasks.
- Handle expense claim submissions, verification, and reimbursement tracking.
- Liaise with third-party vendors (e.g., insurance providers, office suppliers, service contractors) to ensure timely service delivery.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Perform other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned to support business operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in similar position.
- Knowledge of HR procedures, employment standards, and benefits administration.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is an asset.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy
