We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead our HR function and support the continued growth of the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and support company goals, strengthen workplace culture, and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
In addition to overseeing core HR programs, this role plays an important part in supporting broader organizational operations including office administration, facilities coordination, IT vendor management, and employee engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys both strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with company growth and organizational goals.
- Lead all HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, training, performance management, compliance, and employee relations.
- Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, compensation planning, and organizational development.
- Manage recruiting efforts including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Oversee company benefits programs and manage open enrollment process.
- Support managers with performance management, development plans, and performance improvement plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations and resolution of workplace concerns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR policies and the employee handbook.
- Manage the company’s external IT service provider and coordinate maintenance and lifecycle management of onsite IT equipment.
- Oversee office administration, facilities coordination, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise the Office Assistant and support daily office operations.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives, company events, and culture-building activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive human resources experience.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience managing HR programs and organizational initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR technology platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for helping a growing company scale its people programs, processes, and culture.
- PHR certification preferred.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
