Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by designing effective sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and overseeing interviewing processes to attract top candidates.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, conducting employee evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment through effective communication skills.
- Oversee compliance with employment and labor laws such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), workers' compensation policies, and other regulatory requirements.
- Administer benefits programs including health insurance, retirement plans, payroll processing via platforms like Paychex, Workday, ADP, or Ceridian, and manage benefits administration processes.
- Supervise HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms such as Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting for strategic decision-making.
- Lead performance management initiatives including employee evaluation systems, succession planning, training & development programs, and organization design efforts to optimize workforce effectiveness.
- Manage HR program operations such as onboarding (employee orientation), training & development sessions, conflict management procedures, and process improvements for efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management and change management projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervising HR teams with strong leadership skills in human resources management.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, workers' compensation policies, and contracts management.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies utilizing HR sourcing tools like Taleo, UltiPro, Kronos, Paylocity or equivalent ATS platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts related to benefits administration or HR systems implementation.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent systems like PeopleSoft or Ceridian for data analysis and process improvement.
- Experience managing payroll systems including Paychex or Dayforce along with benefits administration processes.
- Excellent communication skills capable of engaging senior leadership and fostering positive employee relations across diverse teams.
- Ability to develop strategic plans aligned with organizational goals while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations to ensure workplace compliance.
