Human Resources Executive

Job Summary

The HR Executive is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations within the hospital, including recruitment coordination, employee records management, payroll assistance, statutory compliance, and employee engagement activities. The role ensures smooth HR functioning while maintaining compliance with healthcare and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for nursing, paramedical, administrative, and support staff.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with department heads.
  • Conduct reference and background checks.
  • Manage onboarding documentation and employee induction.
  • Maintain recruitment tracker and candidate database.

2. Employee Records & HR Administration

  • Maintain employee personal files and HRIS database.
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and shift data.
  • Issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and experience letters.
  • Handle ID card issuance and documentation updates.

3. Payroll & Benefits Support

  • Assist in monthly payroll processing.
  • Verify attendance and leave inputs for salary calculation.
  • Coordinate statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • Support in full & final settlements for exiting employees.

4. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure employee documentation is complete as per labor laws.
  • Maintain statutory registers and compliance records.
  • Assist during audits and inspections.
  • Support implementation of hospital HR policies.

5. Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Address basic employee queries related to HR policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist in grievance handling and disciplinary documentation.
  • Support performance appraisal process.

6. Training & Development Support

  • Coordinate induction programs for new joiners.
  • Maintain training attendance records.
  • Assist in organizing mandatory healthcare trainings (BLS/ACLS, infection control, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • MBA/PGDM in HR (Preferred)
  • 1–4 years of HR experience (Healthcare experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
