Human Resources Generalist

Great opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative group in our Rialto Distribution Center!

In this role, you will be responsible for compliance of all local/state employment practices, implement HR initiatives and provide direct support to our employees. This position will require the ability to work independently while being part of a HR team that is based throughout the US. There are several distribution centers across the US with the Corporate Office located in New York. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct background/criminal, credit and reference checks for new employees
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training and development
  • Act as a point of contact for managers and employees, responding to ad hoc requests and escalating where appropriate
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resources policies
  • Ensure proper entry/tracking of employee files in HRIS system (Dayforce)
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner/Generalist role
  • Bachelor's degree in HR studies and/or PHR/SPHR preferred
  • Broad knowledge of CA employment law, Federal and State laws
  • Strong performance management and employee relations experience
  • Ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees at all levels in the organization
  • Effective communication skills -- written, verbal and listening
  • Ability to work well across different functions
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Suite
  • Bilingual required ( Spanish/English)
