Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is essential in managing various HR functions and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Duties
- Administer employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
- Manage talent acquisition efforts including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Oversee employee evaluation and performance management systems to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conflict management, and change management initiatives.
- Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other relevant employment laws.
- Conduct training & development sessions to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with management on strategic planning and organization design to optimize workforce effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate records of HR activities, data collection, and reporting for compliance purposes.
Skills
- Proficient in human resources management principles including talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law as well as OSHA regulations.
- Familiarity with HR software such as Paylocity for payroll and HR operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Project management skills to oversee various HR initiatives from conception to execution.
- Administrative experience with a focus on data entry accuracy and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
