Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human capital management, employee relations, and talent acquisition, while demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee human resources management functions including talent acquisition, employee orientation, and performance management.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other employment laws.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and support organizational design efforts.
  • Conduct employee evaluations and manage workforce planning to align with strategic goals.
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and equitable workplace environment
  • Utilize HRIS systems, for data entry, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
  • Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on recruiting efforts using ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and manage workers' compensation claims as needed.
  • Assisting in other functions of the office as needed.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles is essential.
  • Familiarity with employment & labor law, conflict management, and project management is highly desirable.
  • Experience with HR sourcing strategies, data collection methods, and social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in HR software such as Oracle HCM, Ceridian, Dayforce, or UltiPro is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
