Meridian Healthcare is searching for a full-time Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

Meridian Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated HR Generalist that will be responsible for managing core HR functions and will provide support to staff throughout the employee lifecycle. This role will develop and implement recruitment and onboarding strategies that support and align with the agency's mission and goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, phone screens, interviewing, pre-employment checks, and coordinating offers.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and attract top talent through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and partnerships with local educational institutions.
  • Coordinate and facilitate engaging onboarding and new hire orientation programs to ensure new employees feel welcomed, informed, and connected to the agency's mission and culture.
  • Perform 90-day and 1-year follow-ups with employees to provide support and ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Support and participate in staff appreciation initiatives to foster employee engagement, recognition, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with accrediting bodies, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or related HR experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS software required.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
  • High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
