Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including payroll, employee relations, workforce management, and strategic planning. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

  • Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and facilitating conflict resolution.
  • Oversee workforce management, ensuring optimal staffing levels and employee engagement.
  • Conduct HR sourcing to attract top talent through various channels, including social media management.
  • Maintain accurate data entry in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other HR databases.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing insights on workforce trends and needs.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and compliance reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote a cohesive workplace culture.

Experience

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms for recruitment purposes is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations principles and workforce management strategies.
  • Proficiency in data entry and experience with ATS software is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Human Resource Generalist position will report to the Human Resources Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, employment law compliance, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.

· May assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

· Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

· Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

· Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.

· General knowledge of employment, and labor laws

· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn Elite 365’s HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· At least two years of human resource experience required.

· Remote experience preferred

· ADP Workforce Now experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
