We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our in-house HR team and support our growing workforce. This role is hands-on and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment while maintaining strong communication and employee relations across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
- Build strong relationships with employees and supervisors to ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
- Recruitment & Onboarding
- Partner with managers to recruit, interview, and hire employees, ensuring timely and effective staffing of warehouse and office roles.
- Facilitate a smooth onboarding process, including new hire orientations, compliance paperwork, and integration into company culture.
- HR Administration
- Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Process employee status changes, benefits enrollment, and other HR transactions.
- Performance & Compliance
- Assist in the administration of performance review processes, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and union agreements.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal company policies.
- Training & Development
- Support training initiatives, including safety training, leadership development, and compliance modules.
- Bilingual Communication
- Translate HR communications, policies, and trainings between English and Spanish as needed to ensure accessibility for all employees.
- Act as a cultural and communication bridge between leadership and Spanish-speaking employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) – required.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or union environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
