Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our in-house HR team and support our growing workforce. This role is hands-on and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment while maintaining strong communication and employee relations across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations & Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and supervisors to ensure a positive and compliant work environment.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Partner with managers to recruit, interview, and hire employees, ensuring timely and effective staffing of warehouse and office roles.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process, including new hire orientations, compliance paperwork, and integration into company culture.
  • HR Administration
  • Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Process employee status changes, benefits enrollment, and other HR transactions.
  • Performance & Compliance
  • Assist in the administration of performance review processes, corrective actions, and disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and union agreements.
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal company policies.
  • Training & Development
  • Support training initiatives, including safety training, leadership development, and compliance modules.
  • Bilingual Communication
  • Translate HR communications, policies, and trainings between English and Spanish as needed to ensure accessibility for all employees.
  • Act as a cultural and communication bridge between leadership and Spanish-speaking employees.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist or related HR experience required.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) – required.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or union environment strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
