Our company is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic and collaborative HR team. What You Will Do

Executes the HR strategy in collaboration with the HR Manager.

Stays connected and informed on workplace trends and HR best practices in the United States.

Plays an active role in communication of all HR related initiatives.

Manages day-to-day employee benefits, supports staff with choosing their benefits, and administers the online enrollment system.

Provides comprehensive education to employees and supervisors regarding available benefit plans, including retirement, health, dental, vision, and supplemental coverage; responds promptly to all benefit-related inquiries.

Facilitates the annual benefits enrollment process by providing eligible employees with detailed information and resources, ensuring informed decision-making.

Coordinates FMLA, STD, FML, and other leave absences in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Monitors adherence to ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and DOL regulatory requirements.

Supervises the onboarding process and manages the orientation of all new and returning employees.

Maintains accurate employee records in HRIS and benefits system.

Ensures new hire documentation is received, retained, and updated as required.

Develops and manages a performance appraisal process that aligns with business needs and drives high performance.

Assists managers with coaching, performance discussions, follow-up on timelines and ensure that all employees’ Goals and/or Development Action Plans are identified.

Responds to employee inquires in a timely manner and provides proactive solutions to day-to-day challenges.

Communicates and enforces all HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations.

What you Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in progressive Human Resources roles

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with benefits administration platforms, HRIS, and payroll systems.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credentials preferred.

Must be knowledgeable on key legal issues associated with HR practices.

Demonstrated relationship building skills, written and oral communication, and analytical skills.

Able to collaborate with Management and employees to identify and resolve issues that achieve a balance between business needs and employee needs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Confident, approachable with the capacity to understand multiple perspectives, possessing a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
