MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Human Resources Generalist is to provide direct, hands-on support to employees by managing HR operations, ensuring compliance, and building positive employee experiences in alignment with the ministry's mission and values.

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Employee Lifecycle Administration: Manages the full employee lifecycle by coordinating onboarding, offboarding, and providing ongoing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

2. HR Systems & Compliance: Oversees HRIS data integrity and personnel records by managing daily entries, conducting audits, maintaining compliance, and generating HR reports.

3. Employee Relations & Support: Manages HR documentation and knowledge systems, serves as the primary employee resource for HR inquiries, supports supervisors with employee relations documentation, and escalates complex issues to the HR Manager.

4. Culture & Engagement: Supports employee engagement by coordinating events, gathering feedback, and exemplifying MA's Christ-centered values and culture.

5. Training & Development Support: Coordinates and tracks employee training and development activities while supporting HR leadership in facilitating orientation and culture initiatives.

6. Special Projects & Continuous Support: Supports HR initiatives and cross-regional projects by assisting with rollouts, offering process improvement feedback, and promoting operational efficiency.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–3+ years of HR or related administrative experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
