Ridgeview Industries is a leading metal stamping and assembly supplier primarily serving the automotive market. We currently employ approximately 600 people across our 4 locations.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a patient, friendly, and positive attitude to support our Grand Rapids, Michigan location. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Human Resources Generalist responsibilities with safety administration a plus. This candidate must be an independent self-starter, critical thinker who is able to prioritize and meet deadlines. This candidate should possess strong relationship skills with the following education, skills, and abilities:

Primary responsibilities:

· Conduct new hire orientations and on-boarding process.

· Participate and lead when appropriate, recruiting and selection process.

· Ability to create reports and communications using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

· Experience with HRIS and Time and Attendance systems to process employee data, experience with Paycor preferred.

· Ability to communicate with all levels of organization.

· Demonstrate the importance of accuracy, follow up, and attention to detail.

· Working knowledge of MIOSHA Safety and Health Standards and incident investigation.

· Resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

· Support events, activities and projects to enhance employee well-being.

· Experience administering payroll processing procedures.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Business Administration, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources Generalist role.

· Knowledge of employee benefit programs and administration.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Passion and discipline to follow defined procedures.

· Passion to serve employees at Ridgeview Industries, supporting a three shift operation.
