Human Resources Generalist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not are limited to, the following:

· To manage daily HR inquiries regarding timekeeping, payroll, job openings, enrollment, and the like;

· To maintain continuous communication with employees, supervisors, managers, and directors throughout all tasks.

· To maintain chart of accounts, payroll, and benefit systems:

o To review chart of accounts on a weekly basis for accurate head counts, positions held, department layouts, etc.

o To ensure accurate and timely inputs to employee and pay profiles (e.g., pay changes, status changes, bank account info)

o To monitor Employee Navigator for accurate info and completion of all assigned tasks and benefit elections.

o To maintain accurate temp hour count records, discipline logs, and pay history forms

· To monitor timekeeping system:

o To reconcile weekly time sheets (e.g., receiving approvals from supervisors/managers, adjusting sheets for paid breaks)

o To adjust time sheets for errors

o To input PTO benefit usage

o To report all hours worked to requisite staffing agencies every week

· To manage recruiting and onboarding processes:

o To respond quickly to all hiring needs

o To create, track and grow applicant pools through various recruitment avenues, including online job boards, local job fairs, and bridge programs.

o To onboard all new hires and process and assign all related paperwork and training

o To ensure successful onboarding, training, and enrollment for all new employees by monitoring enrollment statuses, following up with employees, and seeking feedback from employees and performance reports from supervisors.

· Performance tracking:

o To work closely with the HR Manager to monitor employee performance via supervisor and manager performance logs

o To condense and record performance logs

· To read, write, and communicate proficiently with all employees:

· To assist with and coordinate tasks with the HR Manager and Payroll Specialist;

· To uphold and comply with all company and safety policy violations, work-related injuries or incidents, and workplace discrimination;

· To work normal operating hours, including overtime when necessary; and

· To perform any other duties required to complete assigned tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Education/Experience. A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or three to five (3-5) years of relevant work experience.

· Skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate professionally. Ability to build and foster relationships across all departments and their employees. Ability to provide creative solutions.

· Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations. All applicants must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.

· Physical Demands. Employees are regularly required to sit for periods of 5-7 hours.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
