Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. In this role, you will serve as a key partner in managing human capital strategies, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. Your energetic approach will help shape our organizational culture, support talent development, and streamline HR operations to promote a thriving workplace environment. Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee employee orientation programs and conduct regular employee evaluations to support performance management initiatives.
  • Administer benefits programs and handle benefits administration tasks.
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, including conflict management, workplace investigations, and fostering positive communication across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation regulations, and affirmative action planning requirements.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Lead change management efforts by supporting organizational design projects, succession planning, and workforce management initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records related to contracts, data collection, and HR sourcing activities.
  • Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
  • Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
  • Administer interview of potential employees, new employee on boarding and orientation.
  • Process complaints regarding sexual harassment discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain employee personnel records.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of human capital management principles.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, WA L&I laws, workers' compensation procedures, and affirmative action planning.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management, strategic planning, organization design, and talent management practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively and foster positive employee relations.
  • Strong administrative experience including data entry, contracts management, and social media management related to employer branding efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
