We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resources (HR) Specialist to support the daily HR operations of our skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about supporting staff and ensuring compliance.

Human Resources (HR) Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding

• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Assist with employee relations, including handling concerns and supporting investigations

• Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes

• Track and monitor employee licenses, certifications, and required documentation

• Assist with payroll coordination, timekeeping, and benefits administration

• Support HR audits and ensure personnel files are survey-ready

• Help implement employee engagement and retention initiatives

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Human Resources (HR) Specialist Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

• 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or healthcare setting

• Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws

• Experience with onboarding, compliance, and employee relations

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
