UTLX headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This internship is a full-time in office-based position requiring 5 days in the Chicago office.

per week in the Chicago office during the summer program.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Human Resources Intern will support key HR initiatives across the employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on onboarding, manager enablement, rewards and recognition, and engagement programs. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core HR work and strategic projects while partnering closely with HR leadership and stakeholders across the organization.


KEY PROJECTS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the design and enhancement of Marmon’s WOW onboarding experience, including content development, feedback analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist in the development and standardization of Site Manager and Leader communication toolkits to support consistent messaging and people leadership practices.
  • Provide analytical and administrative support for EWA compensation evaluation efforts, including data organization, benchmarking support, and documentation.
  • Contribute to the standardization of engagement and recognition programs, including program materials, best practices, and communication assets.
  • Assist with the review, organization, and maintenance of job descriptions and other core HR documentation.
  • Support additional HR initiatives related to talent, culture, and employee experience as assigned.


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or people-related functions.

Pay Range:

18.90 - 23.10
