Human Resources Intern

Moltus Building Group is a commercial general contractor headquartered in Hemlock, Michigan, working locally in Michigan as well as throughout the United States and Canada for Fortune 100 companies and local entrepreneurs. We are a growing company actively seeking skilled individuals to join our concrete crew as a Human Resources Intern

Duties

The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team in day-to-day administrative tasks and strategic initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience in core Human Resource functions, including onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in pursuing a career in Human Resource 

The below list of duties is not intended to be an all-inclusive list, nor is it arranged in order of priority. These duties are not meant to restrict initiative but rather describe minimum activities. The duties of this position shall range in complexity and nature depending on the needs of the department and company. Human Resources Internship duties shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team
  • Participate in Human Resources projects and initiatives assigned
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Assist in the implementation of Paycom HRIS software, including supporting employee training and promoting system adoption across the organization
  • Help update and standardize job descriptions to ensure alignment with company branding, tone, and organizational consistency
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to review, update, and standardize onboarding materials to ensure a consistent and engaging new hire experience
  • Assist in the creation of a comprehensive pre-hire guide to enhance candidate experience

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Prior internship or administrative experience is a plus (not required)
