Summary

The HR Manager is a strategic leader responsible for directing and overseeing all employee-related functions at ABC. This role encompasses the management of recruiting, hiring, training, and employee development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The HR Manager also develops, implements, and maintains HR policies and practices, addresses employee relations issues, and drives initiatives to optimize workforce performance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Plant Manager and leadership team to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Develop and lead workforce planning initiatives to support productions demands and future growth
  • Monitor turnover, absenteeism, and staffing trends; implement action plans to improve retention
  • Lead HR projects that drive employee engagement, culture, and performance
  • Serve as a primary contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Coach supervisors and managers effective leadership and consistent application of policies
  • Build employee engagement programs to strengthen morale, recognition, and performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Automotive Manufacturing/plant HR experiences strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employee relations, and workforce planning
  • Proven ability to drive retention and engagement initiatives
  • Excellent communications, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
