Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and contribute to the strategic direction of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of HR practices and policies.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Manage talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict management and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, including FMLA and OSHA regulations.
- Administer benefits programs and manage payroll processes effectively.
- Design and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.
- Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on organizational design and strategic planning efforts.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or Oracle HCM for data analysis and reporting.
- Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Drive process improvement initiatives within the HR function for increased efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in HR sourcing.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, conflict management, and program management.
- Experience supervising teams and leading change management efforts within an organization.
- Proficiency in using various HR software systems such as ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, or SAP SuccessFactors for data collection and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on strategic planning and budgeting capabilities.
