Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. This role is crucial in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals while fostering a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of employment laws, talent management, and organizational development.
Duties
- Oversee the recruitment process, including talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts and facilitating resolutions to enhance workplace harmony.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, OSHA, and other employment and labor laws while managing workers' compensation claims.
- Administer benefits programs and oversee payroll processes using HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or Paychex.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management, including succession planning and organization design.
- Conduct employee evaluations and manage performance management systems to drive productivity.
- Facilitate change management processes within the organization to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Prepare data analysis reports on HR metrics to inform senior leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting for HR initiatives and program management.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and conflict resolution.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation skills, program management, and strategic planning.
- Experience with HR sourcing techniques, employee orientation programs, and performance evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with various HR software systems such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, UltiPro, Taleo, Dayforce, or Paylocity is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
