We are currently looking for a full time Human Resources Manager to manage our Human Resources Department. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Administer benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings, etc. for eligible employees, and determine employees' eligibility for offered benefit plans
  • Respond to and process unemployment claims for each state the company does business in
  • Oversee and support the drug testing collection process by ensuring all administrative personnel properly order and enforce drug tests (pre-employment and random) in accordance with the law
  • Conduct HR investigations into employee grievances and recommend disciplinary action as-needed
  • Promote a professional work environment and boost morale by planning office events and administering employee recognition programs (Employee of the Month programs, company newsletters, spot awards and bonuses, etc.)
  • Enforce compliance with all relevant state and federal laws, and provide guidance to senior leadership of changing labor laws or industry practices
  • Conduct audits of company accounts, systems, and records to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as contractual compliance with the company's client accounts
  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between the company and its payroll and HR service provider, Paychex
  • Other duties as assigned

This position is full time with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. This is a salaried position. Salary may increase based on successful performance and tenure with the company.

We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.

Successful candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources. Additional HR credentials or certifications, such as but not limited to SHRM certifications, are highly preferred. In order to apply, please respond to this ad with the following:

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be a US citizen
Must possess a minimum of 2-3 years of HR experience
Must pass a comprehensive background investigation
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a working smartphone
Must have a working knowledge of computers and standard office software (Google Suite)
Must be technologically proficient and computer literate
Must work well with others

Applicant must also have good customer service skills to establish a good working relationship with employees.
