We are a fast-growing organization headquartered in Houston, TX, with a strong focus on healthcare, operations, and account management. Our Galleria office serves as the central hub for our leadership and account management teams. We are seeking an experienced and certified Human Resources Manager to oversee all HR-related functions and administrative operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the overall efficiency of our office.

Position Summary

The HR Manager / Office Administrator is responsible for managing human resources policies, procedures, and programs while also performing a wide range of administrative and operational duties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and employee records in collaboration with external HR and payroll service providers.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for staff and management regarding HR inquiries and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain and update HR documentation, personnel files, and company policies.
  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, office supply procurement, vendor relationships, and budget tracking.
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to upper management, including calendar coordination, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions.
  • Track employee attendance and leave balances, ensuring accuracy in timesheet reporting.
  • Coordinate internal communications, meetings, and company events to promote engagement and team culture.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all HR and administrative matters.

Qualifications

  • HR certification required (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, Office Management, or a related administrative leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of HR regulations, compliance requirements, and employment law.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with HR or project management software (e.g., Monday.com, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Proven record of discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
