You know how to build HR where there’s no blueprint. Where manufacturing meets commercial chaos. Where people ops isn’t just policies — it’s the glue that holds the floor, the fridge, and the field together.

Our client is a growing food manufacturing business with operations scaling across production and sales. They’re looking for an HR lead who’s not afraid to walk the line..from the shopfloor to the strategy room.

This is your seat at the table. But only if you’ve done the rounds.

Your Role

  • Run end-to-end HR — from hiring operators to onboarding sales teams
  • Create and implement HR systems in an environment that’s just getting structured
  • Handle performance reviews, grievances, and payroll with equal grit
  • Own compliance, employee engagement, and culture-building — even on the tough days
  • Be the voice of reason between factory, field, and management
  • Think proactively about workforce planning and retention — not just firefighting

What You Bring

  • 10+ years in HR roles, preferably in food manufacturing or similar industries
  • You’ve worked with sales teams, supply chains, production staff — and lived to tell the tale
  • You get labor laws, but you also get people
  • You’ve set up HR functions or stabilized them post-growth
  • Strong with strategy, stronger in execution

This is not a textbook HR role. It’s a builder’s role. A fixer’s role. A role for someone who knows the difference between a policy and a promise. This role won’t win a “highest comp” award .. but it will give you unmatched exposure, autonomy, and the chance to build something real.
