Human Resources Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all facets of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. Your energetic leadership will drive organizational success by aligning HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring our team members are supported, engaged, and empowered to excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Lead recruitment efforts through effective sourcing techniques utilizing HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM to attract top talent.
  • Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration and understanding of company policies and culture.
  • Manage performance appraisal processes, employee evaluations, and succession planning initiatives to foster continuous growth and leadership development.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, workers' compensation, OSHA compliance, and retirement plans like Paychex or ADP.
  • Handle complex employee relations issues by applying conflict management skills and ensuring fair resolution in accordance with employment law.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws such as FMLA regulations, OSHA standards, and other federal/state employment regulations.
  • Supervise HR staff and coordinate training & development programs aimed at enhancing organizational capabilities.
  • Conduct data analysis for HR metrics using tools like Kronos or UltiPro to inform strategic decisions related to workforce planning and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on organization design initiatives and change management projects to optimize operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in talent management, employee relations, and program management.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience leading HR teams or departments effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, workers' compensation procedures, OSHA standards, and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Ceridian or ADP for data collection and process automation.
  • Excellent negotiation skills paired with strong communication abilities for effective employee engagement and conflict resolution.
  • Skilled in strategic planning, process improvement initiatives, budgeting, and organizational design efforts.
  • Ability to analyze data to support decision-making processes related to human capital management.
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering training sessions or strategic updates to leadership teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR are preferred but not mandatory.
