Responsibilities:

Lead the HR activities across the Country.

Support Management in Headcount reconciliation to ensure accurate movement of employees’ new hires/transfers/terminations.

Ensure modern ways of attraction and recruitment tools are used throughout the region.

Ensure that managers and supervisors are aware and able to use selection techniques set by central HR.
-
Leading the assessment of corporate and leadership competencies. Prepares offers and legal documents for National and Expatriate selected candidates.

Assures that appropriate onboarding of new joiners take place.

Ensures that development of skills and competencies are an integral part of leaders’ activities.
-
Assess the availability of critical skills and supply of resources.
-
Leads and gives follow-up on succession planning activities.

Assures jobs are described and evaluated properly.

Keep track of changes in benefit and compensation practices in the region.

Ensures that there is a working climate and practice which ensures employees perform at their best, are motivated to contribute to the company’s objectives and targets , whilst they feel that their interests are taken in to consideration and well balanced with the business needs.

Provide full support in employee retention and engage in exit interview to understand attrition.

Supervise the SPF.

Ensure that the department provides effective customer services to staff which is increasing the staff satisfaction index.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

8 -10 years of HR experience.
-
Experience in Oil & Gas upstream industry is preferred.
-
Knowledge in Omani labor legislation.
-
High experience with local employment legislation.
-
Experience working with HR ERP modules.
-
Knowledge of HR Functions such as talent acquisition, development, total rewards, policy and procedures, and employee relations.

Proficiency of English.

Service orientation.

Business acumen.
