Human Resources Manager

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an HR Manager who will play a crucial role in implementing HR policies and strategies and managing day-to-day HR activities. This strategic partner will not only implement HR functions but also ensure that our commitment to employee well-being remains at the forefront of our operations.

Position Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing critical HR functions, including but not limited to employee recruiting and onboarding, payroll, performance management, and compliance. The HR Manager reports to the HR Director and is relied on as an in-office asset at our corporate location. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in HR leadership, a strong understanding of industry best practices, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring that Carpet Tech continues to thrive as an integral part of our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Recruiting and Onboarding: Oversee all recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees in all locations, departments and divisions. Identify hiring needs and trends and implement new and updated processes to better our system.

Performance Evaluation: Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide support for managers in giving feedback. Assist in setting performance objectives and helping managers align employee goals with organizational priorities.

Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate or provide learning and development programs. Support leadership development initiatives and encourage career growth within the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning. Coordinate company-wide training, travel, and communications. Track and maintain technician certifications and continuing education.

Compensation & Benefits: Assist in developing competitive compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent. Administer employee benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure compensation packages remain competitive.

Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a HR Managerial role.

Solid understanding of HR laws, payroll regulations, and best practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, and people skills.

Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, and other HR software

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, and other HR software.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with HR metrics.
  • Proficiency in payroll and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Organizational and multitasking expertise.
