Human Resources Manager

$70-100k/year plus bonus

DUTIES

  • Knowledge of a broad range of HR strategies and practices, including engagement, performance management, safety, and employee relations; able to apply these strategies to diverse situations
  • Directly support all human capital activities, including recruiting, benefits, compensation, talent development and employee relations for multiple locations
  • Manage full-cycle production recruiting and oversee outsourcing recruiting resources to ensure efficient hiring, consistent candidate quality, and alignment with operational staffing needs.
  • Acts as business partner with managers to address people, policies and procedures
  • Manages the companies benefits plans, processes and vendor relationships
  • Manages Manage company training records, compliance and timeliness
  • Provide high-quality advice and guidance on daily employee relations and performance management issues
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees develop and understand their job responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to team members on practices to develop and grow an engaged workforce and foster a positive company culture
  • Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution
  • Manage off-boarding processes
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Stays abreast of compliance requirements and government regulations, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, TITLE VII, ERISA, etc.
  • Focus on employee engagement and retention practices to help retain people by identifying trends, providing recommendations and implementing new initiatives
  • Facilitates the company wide performance evaluation and goal setting process
  • Maintain all new hire paperwork including pre-employment, offers, verifications, clinic forms and onboarding paperwork once hired
  • Train hiring managers and supervisors on use of employee tracking systems
  • Serve as payroll backup
  • Needs to be flexible to accommodate 3-shift multi-site operation
  • Attendance is an essential function of the role.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or combined education and experience
  • Minimum three (3) or more years of HR Manager
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with managers and individuals
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Intermediate computer competency including MS Word and MS Excel, HRIS systems

Preferred

  • ADP HRIS and payroll experience
  • Manufacturing or warehousing experience
