About the Role
Oceaneering is seeking a highly capable and strategic
HR Manager
to lead and deliver Human Resources operations in Oman. In this role, you will act as a trusted HR business partner, embedding corporate and regional HR strategy into local operations, and ensuring high‑quality HR support to leaders, employees, and business segments across the country.
You will collaborate closely with HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), support cultural and organisational change initiatives, and oversee all HR service delivery within Oman.

Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnering

Equip local leaders with the tools and knowledge needed to manage their people effectively in alignment with business strategy.

Drive best‑practice sharing and harmonisation across functions and regions.

Act as the liaison between the business line and HR COEs to ensure HR services align with internal client needs.
Employee Relations & Labour Law
-
Support the development and implementation of effective labour relations and employee relations strategies.

Benchmark internal and external HR environments to improve policies and initiatives.

Maintain strong working knowledge of Oman labour law and emerging employment legislation.
Organisational Development & Change
-
Lead and influence cultural, organisational, and people‑related change initiatives.

Partner with HR COEs to implement communication and change plans across the local business area.

Support continuous improvement and service‑level enhancements through proactive client feedback.
HR Operations & Team Leadership
-
Provide development, coaching, engagement, and supervision for HR staff within the region.

Support global and local HR projects as required.

Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental systems.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree and
5–10 years Human Resources experience
, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong influencing, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skills.
-
Proven commercial awareness and business partnering capability.
-
Experience managing significant organisational change.
-
Deep knowledge of Oman labour law.

Experience working within a unionised environment.
Desired:

Master’s degree in Human Resources.

Experience advising on complex employee relations matters.

Excellent English and Arabic verbal & written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems.
