Location: Tulsa, OK

Reports To: Controller

Pay: $75,000–$85,000

We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee HR operations for a growing company with 14 locations across 7 states in the used cooking oil recycling and commercial kitchen grease trap cleaning industry. This role manages core HR functions while ensuring all company licenses and permits remain compliant across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for positions across multiple locations and states
• Administer employee benefits and support payroll with accurate HR data
• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, workplace concerns, and investigations
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Maintain HR policies, employee records, and HRIS data
• Support performance management, employee development, and training programs
• Partner with leadership and operations to support workplace safety initiatives
• Track, maintain, and renew all required business licenses and permits across operating states
• Monitor regulatory requirements and maintain organized licensing records

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-state environment
• Experience with HR compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred: SHRM or PHR certification and experience supporting industrial, transportation, or environmental service operations.
