Operating continuously since 1962 in multiple Midwestern states, this company successfully transitioned to a second-generation family owned and operated business as of 2018. In 2023, the firm was reorganized into a holding company with full ownership over two successful entities whereby the holding company provides full administrative services support to each company.
All roles in the holding company are to be considered external and internal customer service functions where high standards of performance and positive energy are required. JOB SUMMARY:
While this position does have an HR focus, it serves as a broader multi-function role within a small administrative team so that the exact functions will vary. Traditional HR requirements such as handling benefits and investigating workplace complaints will therefore, be involved with this role, but non-related functions such as assisting with AP auditing will also be expected. A strong performer will have the opportunity for personal growth through exposure to a wide breadth of activity and growth of the Company.
This role is non-hybrid with 40 hours per week in the office. Some flexibility can be provided for varying schedules, but this must be in moderation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High levels of emotional competency (self-awareness), flexibility, organization, communication, problem-solving, positive energy, team orientation and customer service will be essential for this role. As a Business Operations Specialist (HR Focus)Human Resources Manager, the right candidate will provide a steadying non-escalatory hand to potentially challenging HR and other issues. General internal (or external) service industry operations experience will be important strongly recommended for this role and while HR and/or benefits experience will be useful, it is not required. Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
