HR Officer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The HR Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end human resource functions including recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The role ensures effective workforce management and a positive working environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage recruitment cycle including job postings, shortlisting, and interviews.
  • Conduct on-boarding and orientation for new employees.
  • Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and coordinate payroll inputs.
  • Support performance management and training initiatives.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational HR policies.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business
  • Administration, or related field (HR specialization preferred).
  • Minimum 4–6 years of comprehensive HR experience, preferably in an educational
  • institution, NGO, or structured organization.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, performance management systems, and
  • employee engagement practices.
  • Sound understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in payroll coordination, attendance systems, and HRIS management.
  • Proven ability to handle employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary
  • procedures.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
