Job Summary:
The Human Resources Manager (HRM) serves as a strategic, onsite partner to Pipeline Health (PLH) operations, acting as a collaborative liaison between HR and site leadership. By fostering a deep understanding of business objectives, the HRM will enhance departmental performance and guide employees, ensuring high-quality, consistent HR support. This position is vital for cultivating a dynamic, caring culture, upholding PLH values, and requires frequent travel to manage HR operations across multiple facilities. Frequent travel between PLH facilities is required. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Pipeline Health, upholding standards of AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) patient communication.
Job Summary:
- Primary point of contact to assigned hospitals and leadership teams.
- Consults with management on organization and human capital issues such as employee development, business unit restructures, succession planning, workforce planning, retention, training, and diversity.
- Consults with and provides guidance to both managers and employees regarding a variety of issues including conflict resolution, career development, performance improvement, corrective counseling, and other HR issues as needed.
- Manages, investigates, tracks and resolves complex employee relations cases and escalates sensitive issues to the Employee Relations manager as needed.
- Identifies and executes opportunities to promote and disseminate information on company culture and values to new and existing employees.
- Conducts and presents new hire orientation and HR post orientation.
- Champion employee engagement activities and promote a culture of inclusivity and creativity.
- Hold manager in-service training courses as needed, educating our leaders in HR best practices, laws, and team building.
- Build collaborative relationships with others through the organization and within HR department to resolve HR related issues and questions.
- Establishes trust and credibility for HR through daily interactions.
- Handles confidential/sensitive information while communicating with various levels in the organization.
- Acts as a change agent with an emphasis on aligning business practice with company mission and values.
- Ensures adherence to HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Serve as a mentor and supervisor to HR Coordinators.
- Provides coverage for HR leaders when necessary to include staff supervision if requested.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Uses AIDET in interactions with patients and family members.
- Acts with a sense of urgency when performing tasks.
- Basic unit/department maintenance such as keeping files, drawers, cabinets free from unnecessary clutter.
- Reports on any equipment and or environmental issues for repair.
- Abides by HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations.
- Speaks up to stop the line and escalates potential safety events if necessary.
- Completes and attends monthly training assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:
- Five (5) years of Human Resources management experience.
- Ten (10) + years of progressive experience in employee relations, HR compliance, and/or related HR generalist roles highly desired.
- Experience with oversite of multiple locations, highly desired.
- Healthcare experience, highly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
- A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within health care.
