Human Resources Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Position Summary

  • This role bridges the gap between Human Resources and Marketing by developing and executing marketing and communications initiatives that enhance SIH’s employer brand. The Marketing and Communications specialist is also responsible for planning, developing, and delivering internal HR communications to ensure alignment with company culture, strategic objectives, and compliance requirements. This role serves as a liaison between HR and employees, enhancing engagement through clear, effective communication regarding HR policies, programs, events, and initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or related field

Licenses and Certification

  • N/A

Experience and Skills

  • Technical Experience: 3 years of experience in Human Resources, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and channels (e.g., LinkedIn, indeed, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Glassdoor, Canva).
  • Experience collaborating successfully, including excellence in customer service and customer satisfaction.
  • Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
  • Knowledge of content creation tools, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Physical Activities

  • Intermittent hand manipulation required
  • Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 lbs.

Role Specific Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns and branding strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to support HR initiatives.
  • Create and manage content for internal HR communication channels including emails, newsletters, etc.
  • Support change management initiatives by preparing communication plans related to organizational changes and/or policy updates.
  • Work alongside the SIH Marketing and Communications Department to update careers website and social content in a timely manner. Design social media posts, content, email campaigns, and position advertisements that align with SIH’s strategic business priorities, operational goals, and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with broader Human Resources team and other key stakeholders to develop engaging content that highlights SIH’s organizational culture, mission, values, benefits, and builds brand awareness.
  • Coordinate the development of employee testimonials, videos, and spotlights to humanize and promote SIH’s employer brand.
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Organize and promote hiring events, job fairs and other recruitment activities.
  • Maintain stock of SIH materials for recruitment events.
  • Proactively work with department colleagues, leadership, key stakeholders, internal teams and vendors/partners to ensure all campaign activities are completed successfully, on time, and within campaign budgets.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and the Marketing & Communications teams to ensure consistency in messaging. Ensure that all communications are inclusive and align with SIH’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Maintain the HR SharePoint page and ensure that information is up to date.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience):

$55,369.60 - $85,820.80
