Responsibilities:
Stay abreast of company policies and procedures and prepare, update and recommend human resource policies and procedures to management.
Updating job requirements, job descriptions and associate’s manual, as needed.
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employees work results by training managers to positively coach and motivate employees; look for opportunities presented by associates for upward mobility; scheduling coaching conferences with associates; hearing , investigating and resolving associate grievance; counseling associates and supervisors.
Prepare all responses to complaints or claims filed by former employees with the unemployment office or EEOC.
Represent Company at personnel related hearings and investigations.
Serve as a consultant with other managers advising them on human resources issues, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
Prepare and present all communications to employees to introduce new company policies, practices or government regulations which affect company operations.
Recruit, post jobs, interview and select associates.
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Design and implement employee retention strategies.
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
Maintain company organizational chart and employee directory.
Maintain and protect confidential data with the utmost scrutiny, judgement and care.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Maintain all personnel files and records, such as attendance.
Assist in monthly company meeting and birthday parties.
Health plan and retirement plan administrator.

Education/Experience
5 years of Human Resource experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the qualifications of the job.
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with Paylocity is a plus, but not necessary.
