Tri-State OrthopaedicsSports Medicine, a well-respected, private orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for a Human Resources Specialist. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and professional HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources and payroll functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on HR administrative experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lead all essential HR functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES-Human Resources:

Provide effective and efficient support for tasks, manage various HR functions, and respond to requests and inquiries accurately and timely.

Benefit administration including annual renewals, enrollments and COBRA.

Manage all leaves of absence, communication with staff about procedures and expectations, and ensure legal compliance with federal and state policy.

Payroll processing. Monitor time and attendance and process semi-monthly payrolls including 401k and HSA payment transfers

Manage and maintain electronic employee personnel files.

W-2 and ACA Tracking and distribution

Assist with compliance initiatives (i.e. state unemployment portals, EEO reporting, policy updates, HIPAA initial and annual training, Labor law postings, etc.).

Provide support with recruitment including the hiring process, offer letters and onboarding.

Process monthly invoices for benefits administration
- Update and maintain accurate organizational charts (Urgent Care and PA Call).

401k/Profit Sharing enrollment, onboarding assistance, annual census etc.

Work collaboratively and effectively with Team Leads and management fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Participate in disciplinary actions along with Team Leads which may include workplace investigations, corrective action plans etc.
- Assist with projects and initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

3+ years of HR experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.

Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
