HR/OFFICE MANAGER


Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time HR/Office Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources and office administration. This role ensures compliance with employment laws, and manages recruiting, job posting, interviewing, onboarding, maintaining employee records and efficient office operations.


Responsibilities
:

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, orientation, retention and off boarding)
  • Complete background checks, drug screening and other required pre-employment screening.
  • Ensure E-Verify and NC Hire are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records electronically and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assign and coordinate all employees ongoing training.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, FMLA, and EEOC requirements.
  • Prepare and file annual reports (EEO-1 and OSHA logs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and/or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years HR and Office Management experience
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as BambooHR
  • Experience with on-line learning systems such as Relias Learning
  • Experience in recruiting in Home Health setting
  • Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be detailed oriented and be able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrating integrity, trust and maintain confidentiality.

Physical Demands:

  • Combination of sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, climbing stairs and moving intermittently during working hours.
