HVAC Chiller Technician

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Install new chiller systems and associated equipment according to specifications and industry standards.

Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance checks and services on chiller systems to ensure reliability and efficiency, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.

Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chiller systems, providing timely and effective repairs to minimize downtime.

System Optimization: Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed on chiller systems.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.

3 years of experience in HVAC chiller maintenance and repair.

Strong knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC controls.

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

EPA certification for refrigerant handling.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
