HVAC Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings, sections, and isometric views for fit-out projects using AutoCAD (and/or Revit, as required).
• Develop coordination drawings integrating HVAC with other MEP services and architectural elements.
• Ensure drawings comply with local codes, project specifications, and consultant requirements.
• Modify drawings based on site conditions, RFIs, and consultant/client comments.
• Coordinate with HVAC engineers, site team, and other discipline draftsmen for clash-free layouts.
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project schedules.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing logs and file management systems.
• Conduct occasional site visits to verify dimensions and ensure proper installation referencing drawings.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HVAC Draftsman, preferably in fit-out or interior projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit, Navisworks, or BIM is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems: ducting, chilled water, ventilation, exhaust, etc.
• Familiar with HVAC standards, SMACNA, and local authority regulations.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in commercial interiors, offices, retail stores, or hospitality fit-outs.
• Exposure to fast-track projects and tight deadlines.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
