HVAC Duct Fitter / Fabricator

Role Overview

The HVAC Duct Fitter / Fabricator is responsible for fabrication, installation, and maintenance of ducting systems for HVAC projects. The role requires expertise in duct work, the ability to read drawings, and ensuring proper installation as per site requirements and standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Installation

• Fabricate and install ducting systems for Ducted AC, AHU, ACCU, FAHU, and Exhaust Fans
• Perform GI / MS / SS duct fabrication and support works
• Carry out PIR sheet fabrication works
• Install GI / MS pipe trays and supports

System Components Installation

• Install HVAC components such as Grilles, Diffusers, VCD, NRD, FD, Sound Traps (STL), Filters, and Duct Heaters
• Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and finishing of duct systems

Technical Work

• Read and interpret technical drawings and execute work accordingly
• Perform fabrication and installation based on site conditions
• Use electrical tools and equipment safely and effectively

Maintenance & Reporting

• Assist in servicing and maintenance of HVAC duct systems
• Prepare basic service and commissioning reports

Teamwork

• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Support other technicians and maintain good coordination on-site

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC duct fitting/fabrication
• Knowledge of DX and CHW (Chilled Water) systems
• Experience in duct fabrication, installation, and HVAC components
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and safety procedures

Additional Advantages

• GCC experience preferred
• Valid local authority driving license is an added advantage
