Role Overview
The HVAC Pipe Technician is responsible for installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems, including piping works and related electrical connections. The role requires strong technical expertise in DX systems and the ability to handle end-to-end HVAC installation and servicing.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Technical Work
- Install HVAC systems including Ducted AC, Cassette AC, Wall Split AC, AHU, ACCU, FAHU, and Exhaust Fans
- Perform piping works including flaring, bending, welding, brazing, and soldering
- Apply proper insulation, anti-vapor coating, cabling, and supports
Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct Nitrogen pressure testing, vacuum testing, and refrigerant gas charging
- Carry out system commissioning and ensure proper functionality
- Prepare basic service and commissioning reports
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and basic electrical issues
- Handle electrical wiring and connections (Control & Power)
Tools & Teamwork
- Safely use electrical tools and equipment
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC piping and installation
- Strong knowledge of DX type units
- Experience in HVAC installation, testing, and maintenance
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions
Additional Advantages
- GCC experience preferred
- Valid local authority driving license is an added advantage
